MIA was one of the Italian associations participating in the first annual Italy Run by Ferrero (June 3, 2018), a five-mile race to celebrate Festa della Repubblica (Italian National Day). Close to 8,000 runners, including several marchigiani, finished the race, which was hosted in partnership with the renowned New York Road Runners (NYRR), the world’s premier community running organization. In addition to the five-mile race, more than 100 children, ages 2-10, participated in the Rising New York Road Runners at the Italy Run by Ferrero, which featured fitness activities followed by age-appropriate runs.
