Tuesday, December 10, 2019. MIA, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of New York organized “Infinito Leopardi“, a conference to celebrate Giacomo Leopardi and the 200th year anniversary of his most famous poem “L’infinito”. Special thank to the speakers: Simona Wright, who coordinates the Italian Program at The College of New Jersey, and Gabrielle Sims, who received her PhD in Italian Studies from New York University with a dissertation on Leopardi’s natural philosophy and poetics.
